2pm to 4pm Sunday 8th September 2019 charity Nature Vibezzz ran a free forest school activity session for families at Plumstead Common Nature Reserve. The session is part of Nature Vibezzz project funded by the Major of London Family Fund.
The next free family Forest School session at Plumstead Common Nature Reserve will be 2pm to 4pm Sunday 15th September 2019.
These free forest school sessions was made possible through the support of Friends of Plumstead Common and permission of Greenwich Borough Council staff.
The families attending worked together to cut back most of the brambles and nettles encroaching on the paths and litter picked the site.
Whilst families hunted bugs around the woodland site, made animal masks and coloured pictures. The children with help of parents made flags, using hammers they printed flower petal patterns on their flags. The session finished with a healthy fruit snack.
