Children make wooden medallions on free family forest school session

2pm to 4pm Saturday 29th June 2019 charity Nature Vibezzz ran a free family forest school session in Knight’s Hill Wood (near to West Norwood Fire Station). This session was part of weekly Saturday activities at Knight’s Hill Wood funded by The Major of London Family Fund.

Participants enjoyed rope climbing, rope swing, bug hunting, making masks and colouring. Everyone worked together to put woodchip on the woodland paths to make the site more inviting for the local community to use.

The session finished with a healthy fruit snack and through using saw and drill the children made wooden medallions.

The next free Nature Vibezzz family forest school activity session will be 2pm to 4pm Saturday 6th July 2019. Everyone is welcome to come and join us to learn more about the woodland and it nature.
